|
An exciting opportunity has emerged in WWF-UK's Design and Impact team to support a wide range of WWF's projects and programmes. Your positive, expert advice will enable our programmes to improve their design, monitoring and evaluation processes, to help us achieve our goals, learn from our experiences and celebrate our successes. WWF works to find solutions to the world's most serious environmental issues through safeguarding the natural world, tackling climate change and changing the way we live. To achieve change on the scale required to address these challenges, WWF works in diverse ways that range from delivering solutions on the ground through community based natural resource management, to lobbying for policy reform and engaging business and industry. All these interventions need to be underpinned by core principles of good design, monitoring, evaluation and learning. The Design and Impact Advisor will work with a range of WWF programmes both in the UK and overseas, to ensure their interventions are robust and effective. This includes supporting programme design, providing and coordinating capacity building, developing and piloting innovative methodologies for measuring effectiveness and impact, and ensuring that evidence-based results are used to influence strategic decision-making. Educated to graduate level, you will be experienced in designing and undertaking monitoring and evaluation for natural resource management programmes and policy work, with a practical knowledge of methodologies to demonstrate lasting change and impact. Excellent communication and organizational skills will be essential in developing a wide range of working relationships. Occasional overseas travel will be required.
