Brief Description Responsible for leading and driving Postcomm’s research direction and strategy Vacancy description • To co-ordinate all market research projects across Postcomm, liaising with the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills to ensure appropriate records of research projects are kept. • Responsibility for managing and delivering the research element of cross-directorate policy projects. Examples include a market study and a project to assess consumers’ needs for a sustainable universal postal service in 2012.
• Management of the Market Research and Intelligence team comprising an Associate, Market Intelligence. • Being part of the project team, and being personally responsible for managing and delivering the research element of cross-directorate policy projects, including the market study and work on customers needs for a sustainable universal service in 2012.
• To manage production of Postcomm’s Business Customer Survey through all stages including the tender process, questionnaire design, fieldwork, reporting, publication and dissemination of findings. Management of external suppliers to ensure delivery of the project on time and within budget.
