This post involves managing the ‘front door’ at Pinner Road and, in conjunction with a senior practitioner, the duties include; - supervising three social workers and eight social care assistants
- ensuring that there are speedy and appropriate decisions on all referrals to
the office - allocating cases to practitioners
- ensuring that assessments are completed to a good quality and within timescales
- ensuring that staff develop their skills, knowledge and experience
- addressing staff performance issues
- liaising with other managers, as required, in the best interests of children and the service
- ensuring that performance indicators targets are met
- developing relationships with partner agencies
- ensuring that complaints are responded to appropriately and within Council timescales
- highlighting to the service manager cases which require senior management awareness or attention.
