The Unit Mobility Assistant is directly responsible to the Site Manager of the Sqn. Responsibilities include: - Assisting the Site Manager with all tasks in relation to the maintenance and upkeep of the IX/XIII Sqn Sites - Assisting the Unit Mobility Officer in all tasks relating to Squadron detachments. They will be required to load/unload equipment such as aircraft tooling, test equipment and aircraft spares. - May be required to carry out daily Foreign Object Debris sweeps of the Squadron site using a Service Land Rover equipped with sweeping attachment - full UK driving licence is required. - Maintenance of the Squadron Fire Safety Management Plan. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. - Checking and replenishing First Aid Kits and other personal protective equipment. - Monthly replenishment of all Hardened Aircraft Shelter emergency water supplies. - Ensuring the working environment is safe and fit for purpose. - Responsible for identifying and raising work service requirements. - Provide cover for tool stores operatives when required. - Must be prepared to work outdoors in austere weather conditions - Will be working within a high traffic and potentially dangerous environment. - Completing ad hoc tasking as required by the Site Manager/Support Senior/Senior of Quality and Continuous Improvement in accordance with current Health and Safety Legislation.
