We are looking for someone to join a fun-loving but high performing team as a Pharmacy Technician and be responsible for the technical running of the dispensary. RAFPHCS Practices operate under Dispensing Doctor Regulations, so you will work unassisted, and unsupervised by a Pharmacist and will therefore be responsible for self checking. You will provide advice to Medical Centre staff on pharmacy and prescribing issues within the scope of your competence ensuring compliance with policies regarding security, safety and patient confidentiality. You will be responsible for the safe custody, storage and dispensing of controlled drugs, medicinal products and equipment in all areas of the Medical Centre; the ordering and maintenance of all pharmaceutical and medical stores and the monitoring of stock time expiry, audit, disposal and replenishment of expired stock. Computer literacy is essential and previous experience with DMICP is desirable. N.B. There is a dress code. Skills/Personal Qualities
