Job Purpose
Partner with the Head of a Business Unit and/or Department Management teams to identify client specific solutions to deliver HR & business strategies Ensure Human Resources presence in the field and collaborate with managers in order to provide HR coaching and support. To deliver high quality, standardized HR interventions across the range of HR activities in order to enable line managers and employees to add maximum value to the business. In country HR professional leading service delivery to a key business team(s). To secure and deploy HR resource from other HR teams to meet client group needs To lead improvements in HR efficiency and effectiveness in line with country HR strategies To support HR business leaders in the delivery of business HR activities. To implement and lead change to ensure the delivery of the Business HR Strategy. ACCOUNTABILITY:
HR lead for business team(s). Ensure the delivery of the HR strategy to meet the business needs for the client population Secure and coordinate country HR Operations Shared Services support to the Business Unit. Respond to complex queries. Implement and accompany change management. Manage a constructive Trade unions and employee environment within the client population. Coach line managers to develop their HR skills. Lead internal communications and engagement activities fort he client population to increase employee morale and foster a positive employee relations climate. Facilitate interventions to build team alignment and development. Advise and manage work organization design and implementation for the client group. Lead the delivery and co-ordination of HR processes for the client group such as:
o Headcount o Awards o Career progression (Soc + D-band) o Recruitment follow-up + interim o Departmental KPI o Mobility o Part time, unpaid leave o Attendance management o Employee live cycle o Disciplinary actions o Training needs analysis o Exit interview o Policy interpretation o Local induction o Performance management
COMPLEXITY:
Lead the day to day HR activities of a Business unit in a matrix environment.
Needs to partner and negotiate to identify, secure and deploy resources from the country HR Operations team.
Have relevant and credible HR experience to deal with sensitive organizational and individual issues in a complex and rapidly changing environment.
Directed by relevant HRBL regarding the implementation of the business HR strategy.
Directed by the Belgium Operations Shared services teams to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of HR delivery.
Needs to work in a matrix environment to broker needs, resolve conflicts and leverage HR capability for the client group.
Need to influence with no hierarchical link.
Needs to manage in an ambiguous and fast changing environment.
Decisions made could result in litigation impact on multiple teams/departments.
Credibility is based on ability to demonstrate business understanding. SPECIALISED KNOWLEDGE:
University Degree. HR/psychology qualification. Solid Experience in HR or relevant Business experience (5-10 years experience). Influencing skills. High level of empathy, flexibility, adaptability, discretion and credibility are indispensable to execute HR function in a fast changing environment. In depth knowledge of HR policies and procedures. In depth knowledge of Belgian social laws. Fluency in French and English. Job Type: Permanent Location: Belgium
