Payers Market Contract & Customer Service Manager [03/15/2010] |

Details:
1. Supports the negotiation process in the different market segments, which include institutional, managed care, health reformers, employers and doctors.
2. Coordinate all administrative activities related to the contracting of GSK PR Pharmaceuticals non-federal customers.
3. Identify those conditions that are in conflict and communicate them with the Key Account Manager.
4. Maintain and update information systems with respect to contract pricing, special programs, group membership and wholesaler information for all non-federal contracted customers for GSK PR
6. Review and resolve all chargeback-related issues. Determine appropriate methods for resolving chargeback conflicts and communicate results of conflict resolution to appropriate internal and external customers.
7. Support the Key Account Managers in their pricing and contracting work.
8. Analyze tenders and give pricing recommendations before preparing quotations to achieve sales.
9. Writes and revises contract deals and makes quotations to achieve goals.
10. Attends government bids and reports outcome to upper management.
11. Accountable for the pricing strategies/policies for the different market segments.
12. Serves as a liaison for contracting agreements and other related issues for: community pharmacies, wholesalers, pharmacies, hospitals and managed care associations.
13. Supports the sales force efforts related to formulary issues.
14. Supervise all Customer Service procedures as well as staff.
15. Support the Director in achieving sales objectives and controls. Basic qualifications:
BBA
1 year of proven management experience in the sales, negotiation and contracting in health care environment
3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in sales and marketing
Analytical and reasoning skills to develop mathematical applications
Fluent in both written and verbal English and Spanish
HPB's: CBS, FT, TW, CI, CF, IS, BC Preferred qualifications:
MBA
