The University of Nottingham wishes to appoint a Research Projects Co-ordinator who will be responsible for co-ordinating a number of active research projects on behalf of the Institute of Mental Health, a partnership between Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and the University of Nottingham. The person appointed will be expected to provide proactive, quality advice to the Institute’s academic staff, prepare time-critical claims and invoices, monitor ongoing projects and manage the closure of completed projects. They will be expected to be able to perform these tasks across a wide range of funding agencies and sponsors that support academic research and related activities. Candidates should have gained work experience after obtaining an HND (or equivalent) in a financially numerate discipline or have substantial vocational experience of technical, financial or professional practice. Attention to detail is a pre-requisite. As part of a cohesive team, candidates should be able to work to tight deadlines under pressure, and play an active, supportive and flexible role within the team.
