Job DescriptionYou will be working as part of a large team of manufacturing engineers, focusing on ensuring that Manufacturing processes, equipment and facilities are developed and implemented to ensure that we continue to produce the best quality vehicles.
Depending on the nature of the role you are assigned to, you may typically be involved in:
• Managing the design, development and implementation of new facilities and/or processes
• Supporting Supplier selection and vendor management
• Assessing feasibility of designs to suit manufacturing build requirements
• Preparation of costs, budgets and timing plans.
• Co-ordinate the support of Plant Engineering functions with respect to the provision of facilities & utilities
• Interface between process engineering / OEMs and Product Development.
• Determining process capability of processes & equipment, incl Dimensional Management applications
• Application of Lean Manufacturing and Design principles
• Quality Planning and Analysis for Manufacturing
We'll be looking for you to have a selection of these skills:
• A sound engineering background, ideally with some manufacturing knowledge/experience
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a fast moving/changing environment
