The jobholder will assist the team leader in making sure that the following task and processes are completed within the designated service level agreements: Daily cash management, control reconciliations, liaising with the business areas and banks ensuring queries are resolved in a timely and accurate manner.

1. Ensure the cash management is completed within the daily deadlines.

2. Ensure the relevant financial reconciliation’s are completed on a daily basis, and that outstanding items are investigated and cleared according to targets set.

3. Plan and organise your work ensuring deadlines are achieved accurately and on time.

4. Identify, communicate and resolve queries and errors within the team, escalating where appropriate.

5. Communicate precisely and effectively with internal and external customers in order to achieve the financial responsibilities of the department, and meet agreed levels of service.

1. To take a methodical approach in order to find the cause of reconciliation which is not balancing

2. Keep all re-work to minimum

3. Ensure attention to detail is maintained

4. Know how to use relevant systems: Mainframe (for relevant ledger source systems and TSO), Excel, Word, GFAS, Money Out, Barclays Businessmaster, RBS Bankline HSBCnet and Bank of Scotland Corporate Internet Banking.

Salary up to £23,000 (full time)

This role is a job share 2 days per week (Thursda/Friday). Salary will be pro-rata.
