Maintenance Team Leader [04/19/2010] |

Responsibilities
- To manage and lead the day to day activities of the multi disciplined offshore maintenance teams
- Focal point for all GSOC communications and personnel issues
- Accountable for the Quality Control of the Maintenance Management System
- Accountable for the Quality Control of all trade skills
- Prepare and communicate job performance expectations for the Maintenance teams to enable GSOC KPI targets to be met
- To put in place the necessary planning and co-ordination systems to ensure that the production availability meets the required performance targets.
- To provide a reporting and performance monitoring function to the client or senior management including:
- Backlog
- Planned maintenance achieved vs plan
- Defect WO management
- Encourage and promote effective teamwork within Petrofac and with TEPUK
- To interface with other departments (Operations, Inspection Services, etc) on all aspects of intrusive maintenance
- Track the Safety Critical Element and Performance Standard compliance based on the assurance routine deliverables
- All duties and work to be carried out in accordance with TOTAL written and controlled procedures
- Education/Qualifications/Experience
- A recognised apprenticeship or training scheme
- A minimum HNC or NVQ level 3 equivalent preferred
- Experience in an offshore environment with maintenance support activities, preferably with experience of working in a multi-skilling environment.
- Have an understanding of all discipline activities
- Day to day man management and administration
- Fully conversant with SAP
- Be able to read P&IDs
- Have an understanding of Risk Assessment and Root Cause Failure Analysis
- Have an understanding of Production Operations
- Be trained and experienced in Permit to Work principles and application
- Good reporting skills
- Knowledge of HAE/Ex equipment
- Be familiar with small bore pipe work inspection and installation and flange management
- Be aware of the electrical authorisation process and competency for high voltage activities
