Duties and responsibilities Assist in the full implementation of the company’s OPITO-accredited and award-winning competence assurance programme (Competent Person Profile : CPP) Training and educating employees in the CPP process Provide regular reports on the CPP programme and maintain CPP assessment records Internal auditing of CPP programme, ensuring compliance with the process is maintained Update and communicate any revisions to the competence framework Develop and maintain effective communications, establishing and maintaining working relationships both internally and externally Maintain a regular site-visit schedule to ensure the consistent progress of the CPP process Liaise with Petrofac Training and Operations staff on vocational qualifications, where appropriate Minimum experience/skills:
- Good understanding of working within a training and competence framework, involving VQ’s and/or in-house competence assurance programmes, ideally within the oil and gas industry
- Confident and skilled within all Microsoft Applications
- Qualifications and experience as an Assessor and/or Verifier would be an advantage
- Must be self starter
- Enjoy working on their own in a busy and varied workload
- Excellent communication & organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
