As a result of our continued growth we have two fantastic opportunity to join our logistics team as Engineering Manager . You will be based in our distribution centre in Burton Upon Trent. As a Engineering Manager within our distribution team you will ensure the smooth running of all of our plant equipment. You'll be carrying out a wide range of challenging tasks, including mechanical maintenance, electrical and control systems maintenance, fault diagnosis and plant repair, mechanical & electrical monitoring of our high speed production lines, and development, installation and commissioning of new equipment. All the time you'll be helping to develop work systems and routines that advance our proactive maintenance culture and improve plant up-time. To meet our high standards you'll need technical experience of mechanical, electrical/control systems maintenance, fault finding and analysis in high speed filling and packaging equipment, together with exceptional drive and determination. In terms of qualifications, we'll be looking for HNC/BTEC/C&G/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in mechanical engineering, C&G 2391-1 , C&G 2380 and with good electrical skills and experience and knowledge of filling and packing or high speed machinery. Good knowledge and practical experience within Health & Safety will also be needed.
