As a result of our continued growth we have a fantastic opportunity to join our Technical Service Team as A Senior Quality Assurance Officer, You will be based in our distribution centre in Burton Upon Trent.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Officer with NBTY Europe you will support our business by being able to provide day-to-day support in respect of the Quality Assurance functions within the Burton Site including warehouse, packing and production units.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Day to day supervision of the Quality Assurance team at Burton.
• Ensuring compliance to current standards employed on site, including Organic Food Federation, BRC and MHRA standards.
• A good understanding of BRC requirements and quality procedures with an ability to train associates in these procedures.
• Review of product specifications from suppliers with good knowledge of labelling requirements.
• Responsible for maintaining the Quality manual procedures and work instructions. This will include writing and updating procedures for various departments.
• Attending relevant meetings and compiling a monthly review report to the line manager on any issues.
• When required, produce and manage individual project assignments that are associated with the role.

It is expected that the post holder will, if the business demands, cover the duties of other Technical Services staff, particularly on occasion of holidays and sickness. There may also be ad hoc duties as requested by the business as a whole.
