DevOnRamp is an internship-like program for individuals trying to reenter the workforce after a voluntary career break. Successful candidates will take part in a four to six month internship and given the opportunity to bring their technical skills up-to-date while participating in real projects. A part-time option is available. Responsibilities will include web application and/or web service development using Java, JavaScript, HTML, Ext JS, Eclipse, and Junit. Requirements B.S. in Computer Science or related field (M.S. or Ph.D. preferred) 5+ years experience in software development A 2 to 7 year voluntary career break Excellent communication skills Team builder and player Demonstrated outstanding software engineering skills in the past Strong motivation to resume a technical career
