Business Contingency and Capacity, Health, Safety and Environment Manager [05/11/2010]

Key Responsibilities:

1.      Maintenance and improvement of the local GSC contingency plan;

·         Assure any possible backup location is well prepared in every perspective for GSC to use in a contingency;

·         Assure proper tools according to the general BCP framework are in place to initiate and execute the local contingency plan (if any);

2.      Assure proper and regular testing of the local BCP plan according to the GSC BCP test guideline (if local plan exists);

3.      Improve BCP awareness in local GSC in any proper ways;

4.      Coordinate with CENGSCBCP to maintain the BCP framework on intranet for both local and global

      contingency plans;

5.      Regularly submit local GSC capacity simulation according to the GSC capacity simulation guideline;

6.      Coordinate with different parties in local GSC, and provide suggestions to local GSC management about capacity planning;

7.      Conduct necessary activities to meet all applicable HSE laws, regulations and standards;

8.      Review and check the change of national HSE laws and regulation as well as company standards and regulation;

9.      Share HSE related knowledge and information with employees to promote the HSE culture within organization and meanwhile improve employees` awareness and understanding.

10. Identify the hidden trouble and hazard existed in the working environment, take necessary action to eliminate the uncertainty and minimize the potential risks.

11. Respond to emergent public health hazards, evaluate the impact to employees and organization, and propose action plan to management team if need.
