Identify, assess and communicate the impacts and risks of new or changed legislative, regulatory and HMRC practice requirements likely to affect UK Occupational Pension Schemes Produce working instructions and guidance notes on new and existing legislative requirements Deal with complex technical queries from all staff within Occupational Pensions operations and provide appropriate advice and guidance on how to proceed in non-standard situations. Check appropriate internal and external communications, training material and process documentation for technical accuracy, providing feedback to the originators where appropriate. Act as technical consultant to projects that impact the Occupational Pensions operations area and make recommendations to ensure a high level of service is provided to customers whilst maintaining compliance with appropriate regulations. Analyse and advise on process deficiencies and recommend effective solutions to ensure that a high level of service is maintained for our customers and their advisers.
Excellent technical knowledge of pensions, ideally built up in a pensions administration or technical advice role. Professional qualifications would be desirable, as well as an ongoing commitment to future development.
Qualifications:
CF 1-5 or equivalent CF9 A1 and AF3 or equivalent
