Responsibilities
- To be an efficient and effective Maersk Treasury focal who has a good grasp of the total process/data workflows (incl. those coming from HR, ADM and IS) and are able to understand and explain financials with these understandings
- To have strong customer service mindset, in align with Business Partnering role, and doing so with an effective balance with the discharge of finance governance roles
- To ensure adherence to global and internal deadlines for Reporting of Maersk Treasury
- To manage Maersk Treasury daily tasks and responsibilities, managing handover points and close cooperation with all other relevant departments (e.g HR, ADM and IS, Front office for Treasury or Site office for Drilling) in order to have high quality data input into Maersk Treasury accounts.
- Actively seek to achieve KPI and targets, and these are exceeded consistently and relentlessly
- Ensure excellent working methodologies are applied in all working areas including a PEX (process excellent) mindset clearly exhibited by you
- Be constantly updated on global SOP and applicable Accounting & Tax standards, and ensure the same understanding cross team members (e.g actively brief Account Payable team the impact), thereby ensuring required consistent compliances to rules and guidelines.
- Be responsible for planning internal timeline (e.g budget, year end closing, and payment timeline) and ensure clear and precise communications to all relevant parties to ensure meeting up the deadline.
- Support global rollouts and initiatives with optimism and constructive criticism
- Proactively, consistently and on a timely basis, keep the Finance Manager-Non Liner abreast of area of responsibilities, including escalation of issues or challenges (i.e processes or resources) encountered
- Assist Finance Manager-Non Liner with any other projects/tasks and deputise during times of absence
Requirements - Degree in Accountancy/Banking & Finance
- 2-3 years accounting experience
- Result oriented
