Goal:
As a senior computer scientist, you will be creating new application concepts and Application Creation Environments for so called ambient applications in which the user-interface and application intelligence are distributed over the environment. You will consider the applicability of existing programming paradigms for End-User Development and come up with disruptive new concepts. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Innovate on the topic of (SW that supports user-created applications in interactive environments. • Create proof-of-concept prototypes and publish, present and convince others of your innovation. Your main challenge will be: We are looking for a Senior Application Researcher who: Is eager to work in a multi-disciplinary team. Follows up application trends: new client software technologies, emerging Internet applications, new end-user devices, software development environments and service platform capabilities. Continuously expands detailed technical knowledge of these technologies. Identifies and explores novel technology domains relevant for application research. Wants to create. Is active in prototype design & development (both conceptual and SW) and coaches the research team in the development of demonstrations of new application concepts.
