Junior Software Designer  [05/18/2010]


Our Software Developers duties include: Interact closely with the developers of the network devices to jointly define network management interfaces and procedures. Work with the Product Management to understand and refine product requirements. Design and code software to meet the functional requirements. Work with the Quality Assurance team to fix defects and ensure a high quality product.

Our products are built using various technologies, such as Java, Web Services(Soap, XML), Web application frameworks, Web technologies (HTML, Javascript) and C++. They are highly-scalable carrier grade products with a multi threaded and distributed design.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a close-knit team
  • Strong programming skills with Java and/or C++ 
  • Solaris/Unix knowledge
  • Relational databases
  • Understanding of IP and MPLS networking.
  • Understanding of standards based interface solutions such as 3GPP.
  • J2EE Application Server environment, preferably JBoss
  • EJB3-based development
  • Strong scripting skills
  • LTE Wireless
  • 3GPP
  • Diameter (Gx, GxC, Rx)
  • IP Network Architecture and routing Protocols (OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, RIP)
  • MPLS (RSVP, LDP)
  • IP VPN, VLAN, VLL/VPLS, BRAS, etc.
  • Oracle/TimesTen relational database
  • Web Technologies
  • DHCP, RADIUS AAA. 802.1x
  • Experience with DSL and DSLAM technology
  • Network security protocols
