Because of the nature of the work in the Ministry of Defence it may be necessary to complete Security Clearance checks on suitable applicants prior to them being offered employment in a post.

Job Description
This is a Military Support Function (MSF) post. Posts are designated MSF when particular skills, competences and military knowledge are required. Any skills, knowledge and experience you believe pertinent to the vacancy should be expanded upon in your application in the Competence, Experience and Knowledge section of the application form.

Project Allenby Connaught is, to date, the largest ever Ministry of Defence Private Finance Initiative (PFI) accommodation and services project. The 35 year, £8Bn, PFI contract will provide and maintain modern living and working accommodation across Aldershot Garrison and Garrisons in the Salisbury Plain Area. The duties of this post include:

1. Oversee works within the Project but directly responsible for works in Tidworth/Bulford and Warminster Garrisons.

2. Manage Technical aspects related to this geographical zone including: The Reviewable Data Process (design, planning, other reviewable data).

3. Provide general technical support to the wider project team including: asset management, maintenance and life cycle works.

4. Assist in the Change Management for works generally but directly responsible for Change works in Tidworth/Bulford and Warminster Garrisons

5. Deputise for Military Deputy Project Manager when appropriate.

Accomplishments/Tests
Relevant senior management and job-related experience at an appropriate level, must pass Management Competency Test (External A&DC)

Ordinary National Certificate in Building Studies.

Employment Terms
This is a Permanent appointment

This post is Full Time but is open to Part Time / Job Share applicants.

Hours of Work: 42 hours including meal breaks from Monday to Friday.

Salary and Allowances
Salary:
New entrants will normally attract the minimum of the pay scale, currently £33,601, however Higher Starting Pay (HSP) has been approved to a maximum of £35,648. Any offer of HSP will depend on your level of experience and qualifications
