- Ensure checking against all compliance checklists relating to the forecourt and appearance.
- Ensure compliance to all wetstock Management.
- To ensure that corrective action is taken in all incidents of non compliance and that such incidents are documented in line with company policy.
- Ensure that all emergency incidents and operational problems are dealt with effectively including the contacting of the appropriate people when necessary.
- Ensure all daily reconciliations are completed and monies banked in line with company policy and procedure.
- Ensure that stock checks are carried out in accordance with company policy.
- Contribute to staff annual appraisals with Store Sales Manager.
- Ensure that staff comply with company policy and participate in disciplinary actions if necessary.
- Participate in grievance procedures where required.
- Work with the Territory Manager and Store Manager to implement compliance improvement actions identified through performance analysis.
- Participate in store meetings in order to review, communicate, direct activities and gather staff feedback.
- Ensure stock inventory is accurate.
- To undertake any other duties deemed relevant to the role and as directed by the Territory Manager and Store Manager.
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT · The role operates within a fast paced retail environment focusing on compliance related areas. · The Deputy Manager - Compliance will work with a Store Manager and territory manager who will provide guidance and support to ensure the store is managed effectively. · The Deputy Manager will implement and adhere to all aspects of company compliance outside of sales related areas. ACCOUNTABILITIES - To ensure the store and forecourt comply with company health, safety and security standards.
