You’ll be working for the Business and Industry Division, supporting customers to whom we provide total security solutions including security personnel and security systems.
You’ll liaise with customers and engineers to provide a positive customer service experience for users of the service desk and ensure the provision of appropriate inspection schedules. You’ll also provide support and coverage for the Service Administration team as required.
You’ll receive requests from clients and allocate jobs to engineers to cover service calls, providing price details and organising sub contractors where appropriate. You’ll update information into a computer system so that details of all calls and visits are up to date each day and you’ll produce reports as required. You’ll also input information relating to items returned for repair, issue returns numbers and liaise with stores.
To succeed in this role you will need the following: - Experience of providing telephone-based customer service
- Experience within a service industry
- Good education to GCSE/equivalent, including good standard of English
- Strong IT literacy
- Good team-working skills and ability to balance the needs of own function whilst proactively supporting others and willingly providing cover
- Customer focus - both to internal and external customers
- Willingness and ability to review performance and implement improvements
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
