We require Sports Coaches to join our enthusiastic, hard working and reliable Community Sport and Physical Activity Team. We are looking to expand our sports specific and multi sports provision to schools, community groups and through the holiday periods. Sports Coaches will have a minimum of a level 1 sports specific qualification. We will welcome applicants qualified in all sports including basketball, hockey, athletics, volleyball, cricket, gymnastics and trampolining. You will need to have proven previous experience. Further duties will also include the completion of monitoring and evaluation procedures and some admin. Hours are variable and will include school holiday periods, daytimes, evenings and weekend work. Candidates must be qualified to a suitable level in their chosen sports discipline and will be assessed on their coaching and / or leading ability. These posts are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on successful applicants including a Disclosure check (Applicant Declaration must be completed and returned with application).
