Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of the Offender Management Model in accordance with national policy and local requirements Contribute to the development of a strategic plan to develop psychological services Evidence and maintain a record of continuing professional development Work collaboratively with a range of other professionals in the management of high risk challenging prisoners Undertake a range of psychological assessments to determine treatment needs and document results Prepare reports for parole hearings and where necessary give evidence at oral hearings Attend meetings in support of public protection arrangements Provide clinical advice regarding the assessment of psychopathy, personality disorder, learning difficulties and mental health issues. Successful applicants will be offered peer support and additional training in line with the Continuing Professional Development requirements of the professional body

Salary Scale: £27,690 - £38,654 Work Life Balance

Flexible Working Hours The Prison service offers work a flexible working system for certain grades Annual Leave On entry most posts offer between 22 days and 25 days per year, with senior posts attracting an annual leave allowance of 30 days on entry. On top of this you will also receive public and privilege holidays. Leave for part time and job share posts will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
