To make contact with and assess the needs of injecting drug users, providing harm reduction information and interventions including a mobile needle exchange service. To provide a case management service to those clients who are not engaged with other services or who have fallen out of other service provision. To co-operate with flexible work times, in accordance with the requirements of the Needle exchange Knowledge The knowledge and understanding of the complex needs and problems that confront drug users, particularly those with a history of anti-social street activity. Knowledge of drug and alcohol treatment services available within Lambeth, referral criteria and an awareness of some of the barriers to accessing these services that street drinkers and drug users may face An understanding of mental health and dual diagnosis issues. The skills and ability to establish effective working relationships with a range of people within St Mungo’s, and the Statutory and Voluntary Sectors within the community. A knowledge and understanding of and a commitment to implementing an Equal Opportunities Policy, and an awareness of client’s rights. Job Type: Permanent Location: Spain Pontevedra
