The Service Desk Analyst position is key to St Mungo’s IT Service Delivery objectives. IT is a huge focus area within the organisation and it is critical that operational activities are carried out in a professional, timely, and pro-active manner. A fundamental service requirement is to provide IT support covering a wide variety of hardware & software, including specialised and bespoke business applications. In addition to the provision of timely, quality IT voice and data support services to the business, the Service Desk Analyst is required to participate in IT project teams and assisting with any other tasks as required by the TSDM. The Service Desk Analyst has full professional responsibility as an IT specialist and is held fully accountable for all decisions taken. JOB DESCRIPTION PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Record and manage Incidents, Events and Service Requests through to resolution, closure and verification Efficiently and effectively investigate, diagnose, progress and action all operational events, alarms and incidents to the agreed quality and targets, ensuring that issues are escalated where appropriate and all records are updated in a timely fashion Provide desktop, telecoms, and network support, to include User account administration Communicate planned and short-term changes of service levels to Users Provide day-to-day contact and coordination of third party engineers and support staff Provide management information and recommendations for service improvement Identify & Manage Problems Highlight User training and education needs Adhere to all IT and organisational procedures Ensure that all IT services meet their SLA targets and that the operational infrastructure meets all it’s operational targets Ensure that all computer equipment is maintained according to policies, recommendations and procedures Provide day-to-day contact and coordination of third party engineers and support staff Perform day-to-day operation of all IT infrastructure processes Job Type: Permanent Location: Spain Pontevedra
