Administrative Officers are assigned to sections to carry out a variety of general administrative duties to progress cases through the court/tribunal system or provide support to other functions within the MoJ family. There will be some opportunity to exercise discretion and initiative, within a framework of well-established systems and processes. Problem solving is carried out by reference to comprehensive guidelines and instructions - complex or difficult issues are normally referred to a team leader or supervisor. Full Time 37 hours excluding lunch, Monday to Friday (Suitable for Part Time or Job Share, however the exact working hours and pattern would need to be negotiated) you will be required to help out and work at the following courts on occasion: Burnley Magistrates' Court, and Rossendale Magistrates' Court, Duties may include: 1. Creating and updating records on in-house computer system and data input 2. Producing court/tribunal documents 3. Preparing files for court/tribunal hearings 4. Answering queries (telephone/written correspondence/face-to-face) 5. Serving customers/court users 6. General photocopying and filing 7. Dealing with numerical calculations 8. Post opening 9. General ad hoc office duties 5 GCSE's at Grade C or above including English Language or equivalent OR recent relevant admin experience. Job Type: Permanent Location: Spain Orense
