Vacancy description The role holder will carry out a range of data processing and administrative tasks to support the operational functions of the Valuation Office Agency. The duties will include casework registration, data processing, searching and interrogating electronic and manual databases. Work in a post room environment and operating mailroom machinery and print/ sort Notices, letters and other correspondence for dispatch. The role holder may act as a first point of contact and deal with straightforward enquiries from external customers and colleagues. In addition they may be required to carry out a range of administrative tasks and support functions to assist management as requested. Language Skills The Rhyl Network Support Office will be processing a quantity of Welsh work and there is a requirement to have some people who can speak Welsh and are willing to work in the Welsh language. The ability to communicate effectively in the Welsh Language will be especially welcome. Skills Communication – good communication and listening skills, able to convey oral and written information clearly and accurately to colleagues and customers. Be an efficient and polite initial contact with customers. Able to produce standard letters, agendas and advance/post meeting support paperwork.

Personal Organisation & Work Planning –able to exercise own personal time management. Organises daily tasks to priorities and deadlines, demonstrate flexibility able to adapt to changing priorities. Customer Focus – possess an awareness of customer priorities and is able to demonstrate how their work contributes towards these. Be dedicated to providing excellent customer service. Asks questions to find out fully what the customer wants and refers to line managers when appropriate. Qualifications Applicants should be able to successfully demonstrate their competencies in the skill areas indicated.
