You will assist the Senior Housing Officer to provide a customer-focused service to the tenants of specified estates. Acting as a point of contact for tenants, you will investigate breaches of tenancy agreements and take appropriate action. Responsibilities will include accompanying prospective tenants to view dwellings and complete tenancy documentation, and monitoring the estates for abandonment and illegal occupation. To ensure quality service you will visit new tenants to ensure tenancy is satisfactory, and assist them in accessing appropriate services of the Council. Duties will also include minor repair/ maintenance to communal areas, and inspection of properties prior to tenants leaving. You will have knowledge and experience of housing/social work, excellent organisational and communication skills with an ability to work methodically on your own initiative. Required for the Milford Haven area. A valid driver's licence and use of a vehicle for work is essential. A CRB Disclosure will be required for this post.
