A Project Support position has arisen within EADS Astrium. The jobholder will support the Yahsat SGSCS First Line Management team by ensuring that the project build and documentation information are accurate at all times.

The position will allow the candidate to be a part of a dynamic environment, as part of a multifunctional, and will allow the jobholder to gain invaluable experience within the Aerospace industry.

As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the following:

- the creation and maintenance of the project BOM, and associated supporting tracking tools;
- the creation and maintenance of the project configuration data (Software configuration, password logs...);
- the maintenance of the project import/export logs;
- EIDP preparation, including detailed correlation with as delivered documentation set;
- the preparation of meeting minutes and action register closure tracking;
- the general support to the project team including some administrative duties.

As the successful candidate you must be able to demonstrate the following characteristics:

- Relevant degree;
- Engineering understanding;
- Previous experience in a manufacturing / engineering / Defence / Space industry;
- Working knowledge of Sprint (or similar tools);
- Background in Project Support roles and/or organising, compiling and consolidating complex data;
- Knowledge of database tools, e.g. Access. Good experience of Excel (including macros);
- Strong organisational skills and drive;
