Description of the job Contributing to our ongoing effort to ensure consistency between countries regarding the social policies of Astrium, you will participate directly in the preparation and deployment of the company's social policy in France. Your practical and in-depth knowledge of French labour law will allow you to contribute to the negotiations and help secure the company's agreements and decisions.
You will work in consultation with Astrium's labour law advisors from the national platforms in England, Germany, Spain and The Netherlands and contribute to the development of a consistent, company-wise social policy. Tasks You will report in solid line to the Director of the national France platform and give legal advice to this entity's labour relations manager. - You will participate in the establishment of the company's labour regulations, with a view to ensuring homogeneous and legally secure operation of the 5 Astrium sites in France, covering 6,500 employees. - You will act as expert and labour law advisor to the HR department, and to the managers of the company. This role's perimeter covers both the French managers and the foreign managers who have French employees in their teams. - You will also handle and monitor individual disputes (employment tribunal, occupational accident/illness), collective disputes and any litigation with the French social security and family allowance administration (URSSAF).
More generally, you will also be responsible for the following activities: - Constant watch over labour laws, as required in order to preserve the interests of the company by leveraging any opportunities offered by the law (cost control, operational efficiency). - Participation in the preparation of meetings with the representative bodies inside the company and in the collective negotiations at EADS Group level or more specifically at Astrium level. Your skills You hold a diploma of higher education in law, with a speciality in human resources, or have made dual law/HR studies and have gained significant (at least 5 years) and successful professional experience in an industrial environment. Your command of English and also of Frecnh allows you to work fully autonomously in your international professional environment. Job Type: Permanent Location: Fiji
