Siemens Molecular Imaging, Oxford Siemens Molecular Imaging are currently recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team working in recently refurbished, friendly open plan offices in Oxford city centre. We are a pioneer in the development of new imaging techniques & applications which support clinical imaging, pre-clinical research and biomarker solutions. Our SPECT, SPECT-CT and PET-CT systems enhance the ability of doctors to visualize the biology of disease in areas such as cancer, heart-disease and dementia. You will be working as part of a tightly integrated, cross-functional team developing new imaging applications within a structured software development process. The candidate would also be required to support the development of automated testing solutions. Our products are developed primarily in C#, C++ and Java for deployment as standalone or client-server applications on Windows-PC based workstations. As a senior software engineer you would be expected to provide technical leadership within a development project, demonstrate a commitment to quality & excellence in all aspects of software engineering, mentoring and providing input to support continuous development process improvements. We are looking for degree educated candidates within either Computer Science or Maths with previous software development experience and experience of test automation frameworks (eg unit, load, stress testing). C# is also an essential requirement for this role. A strong team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to learn and analyse.
