Education Leeds Attendance Strategy Team are seeking to recruit a confident, highly motivated person to work as part of an innovative and creative team who provide quality school attendance support for Children, Families, Schools and other establishments concerned with Children and Young People, across the city. The successful candidates will work collaboratively as a member of local area Integrated Children's Services, with schools, other agencies and service providers to ensure that children of compulsory school age receive appropriate support to achieve maximum attendance at school (or in other approved education provision), to achieve their full potential. The role of an Attendance Improvement Officer is to work in localities to provide an attendance service to schools and engage in direct work with families to overcome barriers preventing children and young people from attending school regularly. The team are currently recruiting for a full time permanent Attendance Improvement Officer (SCP 20-34); the appointment will be made within SCP range 20 – 26 dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications. Unless in exceptional circumstances appointment will be made on the minimum point of the scale. Salary is subject to pay and grading review. Job Type: Permanent Location: Thailand North - Lampang
