Responsibilities
1. Reporting to the Assistant Director (Human Resource), you will assist her in various aspects of Human Resource Management and Development including appointment, manpower reporting and tracking, performance management and development to ensure that the full potential of CRA's staff would be harnessed to achieve the organisation’s vision of becoming an internationally respected and referenced casino regulator.
2. Your duties will include:-
Appointment & Welcome a) Assist in the appointment and engagement of new hires e.g. arranging for welcome briefing and preparation of welcome kits; b) Work with internal partners to ensure basic office infrastructure and support systems are set up for all new hires; c) Put up welcome announcements on CRA intranet for new hires and draft personalized welcome notes for CE to send to senior, new hires; and d) Administer the due diligence framework for new hires (e.g. completion of personal history declaration forms, Official Secrets Act form, etc).
Manpower Reporting e) Update and maintain personnel records in PM2S for the full spectrum of HR activities; f) Create, update and maintain relevant HR forms and formats in the CRA intranet; and g) Track and collate KPIs relating to CRA and Public Service’s HR priorities.
Board & Committee Appointments h) Maintain and update database of Board and Committee Appointments; i) Administer the due diligence and appointment framework for Board and Committee members of the Authority; j) Provide support for any other administrative duties as required under this portfolio.
You are also required to provide administrative support for the performance management and development function.
Requirements
1. You should be a diploma holder with at least 5 years of work experience in public sector HR. Officers who retire at senior MSO equivalent level are welcome.
2. Preference will be given to those who are familiar with the Government Instruction Manual and PM2S system. A pleasant personality along with good inter-personal skills will enable you to build good rapport with fellow colleagues at all levels in a team-based environment.
3. You should be resourceful, meticulous, organized and independent. You relish the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment and can perform under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel is a must.
