Key Responsibilities Qualifications - M.S. degree in Physics or Electrical Engineering with three or more years of industrial experience
- Experience in waveform production processes and production resource management
- Experience in waveform quality test development and implementation
- Extensive, hands-on experience developing automated methods for optimization of waveforms for microencapsulated electrophoretic display films
- Extensive, hands-on experience selecting an optimum balance between image rendering time, image quality and metrics of user experience
- Extensive experience developing waveform concepts, and understanding of how waveform structure impacts performance of display devices
- Three or more years of experience with electro-optic apparatus and electro-optic measurements for display applications
- Three or more years of experience with graytone image rendering using microencapsulated electrophoretic display films
- Experience with methods for measuring microencapsulated eletrophoretic display performance and image quality
- Strong understanding of the impact of display module electronics on waveform design
- Good understanding of active-matrix display electronics, including display controller, driver and physical design of active-matrix backplanes
- Familiarity with embedded software and hardware
- Strong Matlab programming ability, especially as applied to optimization
- Strong analytical skill required
- Proven ability to manage projects using direct reports and colleagues who are not direct reports
