The Corporate Functions Resourcing Manager is responsible for recruiting for a diverse range of roles from Communications Managers and Senior Strategic Planners to Senior Economists. The range of roles span a number of high profile departments including Government & Corporate Affairs, Planning & Development, Corporate Development, Legal and Safety & Compliance.

The successful candidate should have experience of managing high profile stakeholders, strong influencing and organisational skills and have excellent knowledge of selection and assessment methods. From your experience you should also be able to demonstrate your motivation for excellent customer service and a continuous improvement ethos.

• Ability to provide strategic guidance to line managers consistent with their manpower plans and wider functional goals?
• The ability to run and support appropriate interview and selection processes to enable Network Rail to attract and recruit suitable employees?
• The skills to manage a number of critical vacancies efficiently and effectively in an environment of rapidly changing priorities?
• Advanced influencing, negotiation and relationship building/partnering skills (with both internal customers and external suppliers)?
