Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Archive Service are looking for an enthusiastic person to coordinate and undertake a new and exciting oral history project in Staffordshire. The Project Office will work as part of a small team to deliver the "Children on the Move" community history project. This is an inter-generational community history project looking at the experiences of World War 2 evacuees and evacuation across the county. The post requires a highly organised and self-motivated person, with good verbal and written skills, proficiency in a range of MS Office applications, experience of museum or archive work, experience of undertaking oral history interviews, and a current clean driving licence. This position is subject to a "disclosure" check under the "Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974".
