We are seeking an enthusiastic, self motivated person to join our Community Safety Team. The team works with Staffordshire's agencies and local communities to reduce anti-social behaviour associated with access to age restricted products. Your duties will include investigating complaints, interviewing and report writing, taking an active lead in test purchase exercises, carrying out trader advice visits and training sessions, attending meetings and delivering educational packages to children. You will be hard working, professional and a dedicated team member, committed to helping us deliver the highest standard of service. As a member of a small team dealing with front-line service delivery, you will be need excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure and be IT literate. Applicants should possess the Diploma in Consumer Affairs and Trading Standards or be willing to study towards it. The remuneration package available includes essential car user allowance or subsidised lease car scheme; opportunities for further development and training; flexible working arrangements.
