From day one, you’ll be part of our mission to be a world class Internal Audit team. Heavily involved in developing and executing Internal Audit’s agenda with the business, you will be partnering with key business stakeholders to understand the risks we face and ensuring that mitigating action plans are in place. By building close independent working relationships and a deep understanding of the business, you’ll be flagging up new business risks and opportunities. With a good degree, strong Big 4 experience and/or a blue chip background, you’ll have strong core auditing or finance competencies, excellent big picture thinking, the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels. With the 360-degree insight you’ll gain into our operations, there’s no better launchpad for a long term future as part of the world’s largest retailer. Over time there will be opportunities to develop and broaden your skills base through career moves within Internal Audit in ASDA (or even globally) or moves into Finance and the wider business - we’ll want you to progress and be ready to take the many opportunities that will come your way.
