Spam Employers
We have received several representations from several members related to bogus employer inquiries. AV {Somerset, UK] and DTA {Madrid, Spain] amongst others have become quite agitated about these and who are we to blame them. We do know who several of these bogus employers are and seek to obtain as much information as w can about them, so as to make the best riposte. As many a webmaster will tell you, for the fabulous opportunities the web provides, there are also several downsides, one of these being Cyberpests, conmen with a trick for every day of the week. For members' reassurance, we retain extensive records of IP addresses; dates time and behavior, which in the event of criminal behavior, is turned over to the relevant authorities. We have also place, disguised CV Placers in key areas, to capture further evidence of the cyberpests' movements and behavioral traits. We know that several are agents for competing jobs sites, who seek to sully our good name [again part of the hazards of the web]. Many other are simply con artists, and yet others clinically ahem, unsound wrongly assuming that the use of a computers affords them anonymity. In any case we implore your assistance in garnering further evidence.
Thus where any genuine members, have experienced some infringement from another member who behaves in the above described manner, then please do not hesitate to report it to us: abuse@cvdatabase.biz Chances are we will already have an abuse file raised on the offender and be monitoring their movements! mike h
